My first (and last) scalloped edge.
Next time I'm going to do a "wavy" edge.
Not take such a deep scallop.
Here's a picture of the quilt before binding. It's king size.

This is a customer Block of the Month.
King size. I love the setting stars.
Pinks, greens and florals, one of my favorite combinations.
She wanted feather wreaths in the large solid blocks.
Another customer quilt using a overall feather meandering.
The fabrics are so busy the quilting does not show.
But the feathers do add texture.

Well, that's what I've been quilting. I'm packing to go on a Quilt Retreat this weekend. I can't wait! I'm going to piece a PINK baby quilt. And work on my "Box of Chocolates". And about 5 other UFO's. Maybe I'll finish something.
Have a fun and safe weekend.
Hi! I was so surprised to pull up your blog...and the very post up....was your Meet Me In Paris Quilt out of Robyn Pandolph fabrics. I designed the quilt and get such a kick out of seeing what people have done with the pattern. Yours is gorgeous!! Thanks for making it!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if my last comment went through or not...the page came up and said that 'Blogger" was busy...so I will repost.
ReplyDeleteImagine my surprise when I pulled up your post and you had your Meet Me In Paris quilt there in the Robyn Pandolph fabrics. I designed the pattern, and it is so fun to see the quilts showing up all over done in different fabrics. By the way....yours is beautiful! I have to ask....did you use the EZ Scallop ruler for your scallops? I know scallops are a little mores work..but they really do make this quilt. Keep up the awesome work!!
