A "BUMP" on the Road to Recovery

Turns into a real Pothole!

Sorry it's been over a month since my last post.

But in the last month I have had some major complications.

I was sick and unable to enjoy our little get away.

And have had 2 additional surgeries

plus a 8 day stay in the hospital.

I can't tell you, dear friends, how devastating this has been.

I was suppose to be back to my life (quilting! grandkids! gardening!)

by this time and now it is going to be another 6 weeks.

I will give you details someday, but today I haven't the energy.

Isn't the picture above beautiful?

Mike took it while we were up north.

Please continue to keep me and my family in your prayers.

  4. Sorry to hear that you were so ill, pretty scary stuff I'm sure and I would hate time in the hospital too. As you recover, I know you'll try to enjoy all the wonderful Wisconsin summer yet to come and time with your family. Blessings to you!

  6. Karen, I was wondering what was up with you that you hadn't posted in a while. I thought maybe you were having such a fun time at the lake that you hadn't come home yet. Sorry to hear about your complications. Take care of yourself, which I know you are. Follow your doctor's orders, which I know you are too.

I have the summer quilt on my bed you quilted for me. A little reminder of Vegas and you.
