150th Post Give Away!

Can you believe it?
150 posts.
Hard to believe I had that much to write.
Let alone lovely friends who read them.
To let you know how much I appreciate the time
you take to stop in and visit
I'd like to give you some of my time.
After all, isn't that what life's all about?
Time.

I am going to give away a set of
SnowBound Red Work blocks.
The last 5 blocks will be mailed out monthly
as they become available.
The winner will have enough blocks for a
QUILT
by the end of the year!

This is a free BOM from Bunny Hill Designs.
Check it out....cute, huh?

To enter the drawing, just leave a comment.
If you are a "follower", or become a follower,
let me know and I will enter your name twice.

And please, don't be shy,
post about my give away on your blog

and I will enter you in a special drawing

for a set of hand crocheted edged
pink pillowcases.

That's 3 chances to WIN!

The drawing is noon Saturday, July 24th.
** Sorry I have to change the drawing date**
I'm heading out of town to play Grandma,
and won't be back til Sunday.
For sure, Monday morning I'll post the winner!

Thanks again for stopping in.
I really-really appreciate your time.

Hugs,

  3. Oh Karen how generous of you. I am in the advanced stages of making a redwork quilt, so I know how much time is involved in these blocks. actually when I first glimpsed your photos I thought they were the same as the ones I am doing. Mine is called Winter Wonderland and I have been posting the progress on my blog.I am not usually lucky in thses kinds of things, but count me in with all the others who would love to win these blocks. Congratulations on your 150th post. I have had your block on my list of bookmarked sites for quite some time. I am not sure if I am listed as a follower. but I will be now! I am just coming up on my 100th post but I am sure I will not be quite as generous as you! Lovely pillowcases too!

  14. I have discovered your blog via Anne at Bunny Hill. Hers is the very first blog I ever signed on with or viewed for that matter. Your grand children are beautiful. My one and only is Katie and alas she will be 21 on Aug. 10th. How can that be? I guess if we continue to feed and water them they will blossom and bloom! Love redwork. I am finished up with three more sets that my dear Mom embroidered then I set them and hand quilt. We were working on a series but then I lost her in Sept. 2001. I am still working hard to catch up with her nimble little fingers and the lovely stitching she did. Congrats on your 150th post. I admire anyone who has the endurance to accomplish a successful blog. I have book marked yours so that I might revisit.Louise

After some health problems I am just re-teaching myself to embroidery but won't be getting 'Snowbound' done, so this would be wonderful. I used to do delicate doilies in crochet and elegant cross stitch but...that was then, this is now. At least I can make quilts on with the help of my sewing machine AND I truly am seeing improvement in my embroidery so life is GOOD! A big congratulation on your 150th post.
